Grief Resources
During this time of COVID 19 pandemic, we realize that people may be experiencing a sense of loss on many levels so we have pulled together some resources. We hope these resources will help you explore the contours of grief when you may be experiencing a sense of loss on a variety of levels. We understand that grief is personal and societal and we hope that exploring these resources will give you some spiritual tools and help you with the complex processes of grief. Care Team Mission
Our mission is to show love and support to our church family, and to inspire individuals in the congregation to use their gifts in the service of others. Through outreach, the Care Team facilitates opportunities for meaningful connection with one another as we journey through life’s joys and challenges.

How the Care Team Works
A person is identified as needing assistance, either by themselves or a member of our church.  Anyone can call the Church Office Administrator, an individual Care Team member, or the Minister if they or someone else requires assistance or support.  We recognize the importance of confidentiality and honor it as our top priority and practice. Necessary information will be shared within the Care Team only.  The Minister and the Care Team Coordinator will determine what support to offer and any next steps. Based on that plan, the appropriate Care Team member is contacted and support is offered to the person in need.

Care Team Leaders may choose to be involved in many different ways, including but not limited to: offering rides, making calls and visits, sending cards, offering prayers, offering pastoral care, distributing food, and organizing meal trains.

We hope you will join us in caring for our congregation!
For more information, please feel free to contact the Care Team Coordinator, Elliott Bennett, via the church office at officewtiscong@gmail.com or (508) 693-2842.
